What are some more or less recent games I can play on a laptop with a dedicated low end GPU? In this case a 940MX

you got your source engine games that tend to run well even on machines with early intel HD processors, I think games made by croteam also had some reputation for good optimization too

I recently tried Warframe, after tuning some things off it ran butter smooth 60 FPS but the game itself was too repetitive for me

besides that some PS3 ports like valkyria and the last renmant ran perfectly well

Most 2D games should run fine, I'm thinking that you should probably go for emulating older games and take advantage of all those amazing 90s and early 2000s games that work amazingly on current hardware.

Heat Signature is like a top-down Warframe, with pausing/slowing to select actions, other than that, ports of older games should work fine.

I tried installing SH2, and after all the patching it just crashed at the start, Im pretty sure I followed all the instructions perfectly but I might try reinstalling it at a later date

However I did read Krapawa no Shitjou, a bit of MOON and Guilty the sin and I can confidently state that they are shit.

I also did read Euphoria, Divi-dead, family project and g-string no maou.

Alien: Isolation ran well on low-end systems as long as you turn down the settings, same for Prey (2017). Devil May Cry 4 (the original port, not the Special Edition) runs well on anything, and I remember MGSV running relatively well on a toaster as well, Ground Zeroes anyway.

I also have a bazillion games counting emulators and all the steam shit, but I was wondering how much I could push it on this machine while still being playable

I travel a lot, so the more I can take with me the merrier, but then sometimes my retarded digital hoarder behavior makes it hard to actually choose something and stick to it, for now Im playing Wild Arms on my PSP, after Im done with it I may trim down a bunch of stuff to have a more manageable selection

forgive some of the tags, I know I could separate grand strategy from 4X games
