Pointless question when there's 6 different designs for the character but I'll humor you.

SC1-2 are her best designs, genuinely good as they're simple and iconic, essentially boil down to battle lingerie with some bits of armor. SC3-6 are a tumbling down into overdesigned messes bloated with needless detail and accoutrements; SC4-5 are 10/10 designs for a wank but as actual fighting game designs they're not all that good.

Would also be nice if people understood the difference between the character's design - the costume, hairstyle, etc - and how the artist/modeler makes the character's figure/anatomy. Saying Ivy's costume in 6 looks kinda silly which has nothing to do with her huge tits popping out because there's no wrong with that in my book.

There's a weird mentality that just because the character shows a lot of skin the design get's worse. And that designs are overall better when you start adding in clothes or accessories, not understanding that the skin tone is part of the design.

Honestly the worst part is that he thinks that soul calibur has a reputation as a serious fighting game.

The biggest thing I think he misses is that ivy’s design has always been dualistic in nature. She is confident and domineering, but lacks autonomy, due to her cursed blood, leading to her bondage inspired battle costume. She has visual ties back to nightmare with her asymmetrical arm armor, and to Cervantes with her purple coloring. The combination of purple and gold gives an air of nobility.
