I'm pretty sure there's an easy mode which either reduces or removes the score system required to pass the level, but the idea is that you should be obeying the rules of engagement as a cop.

For SWAT 4, there's a mod that removes the penalty for shooting hostiles. It's just there for game point purpose as rl SWAT will fuck you up good if they think you're holding something dangerous to them. I used it long ago and had a blast shooting perps.

I agree that instafailing is shit, but that's just retarded. You don't fail the mission, you just get a smaller number on the score screen on hitman.
