I like to hop into empty Minecraft servers and see the things people have made.
This is a humble little German server. Can't say I've seen anyone who forced their wolf to guard the nether wart farm.
What do the signs say?

The seaweed in image 2 moves for some reason. It looks terrible, in my opinion.

A house made out of slime? That's new.
While I was jumping around on this stone and glass thing, it started flipping out and dispensing/grabbing lava at a rapid pace. Given the fact that the chest is full of feathers, it looks like some kind of chicken farm.

Feels. OP, this is what I liked to do. I would go on PVP servers and explore ruins. It was my favorite little RP experience. I liked to excavate little ruins, explore their depths, and name them and pretend they were once a grand civilization. Then I would record and document it and leave the site as a historical landmark.
>Minecraft
Again, if half the people weren't griefers and kiddos, as an RP experience… Minecraft would be pretty fun. Except most RP people are stuckup kiddos who don't like any PVP or fun. Or RP kiddos take RP to be RPG instead of the intuitive kind where you just break into character. There's so much in Minecraft where you are free to explore and start naming landscapes. I also named landscapes and rivers and mountains.

Anime first is probably fine. That's what I did and I only just started reading the manga but so far it seems like there's enough stuff left out and enough stuff kept in that you'll see new stuff in the manga without missing things in the anime. The anime finishes at volume 4 of the manga (there's going to be another season but they're waiting for the manga to update some more so it'll be a long time) so if you watch the anime first you'll have 3 new volumes after the parts you've already seen.

>Define "most"
There are tens of thousands of kanji, and there are some that are so obscure that even most adults (who aren't linguists) won't recognize them or use them, akin to old esoteric unused words in English. Kanji is typically sorted into lists sorted by how common they are used and each list is taught in a specific year of school, where schoolkids can be expected to know a few hundred, and a couple thousand is considered fluency.
Considering the typical age range for Minecraft and the simple concise language common to signage, if anon knows a couple hundred then it will be very unlikely that he will encounter something he doesn't know.
That said, I must confess having NO IDEA how language support for non-Latin alphabets even works in Minecraft.
