I literally just finished PMD Blue a few hours ago for the first time in many years. I did forget how the first is kind of cozy, even if it's a bit jankier than later ones and a lot harder.
>Kangaskhan Rocks don't access storage in dungeon rest zones.
>Awkward to feed stuff to your partner. Have to throw gummies at your best friend to make them smarter.
>Final dungeon is 25 fucking floors, a rest zone, and 9 more for a total of 34 floors, with dragons and stuff that will wreck your shit if you don't play carefully. PMD2's final dungeon was 24 floors with a rest zone around the half point I think, for comparison.
>Awkward friend zone system which makes managing the team a pain. Though it is kinda neat to see them in a local habitat and you could unlock some places with it like Silver Trench.
>Moltres and Articuno. Especially climbing Mt. Blaze for your first time not being sure what to prepare for.
>Mew
It still did have a feel I don't think the more story centric PMD games afterwards captured, though. 2 and Super are still good though. There were absolutely no other PMD games released.
