It felt operator as fuck to be in an all-wwew squad and make the rest of our platoon look like shit by accomplishing our objectives way faster, easier and with more aplomb than any other squads. I'm really into WW2 history and one game had us being deployed all over the battlefield from Galaxies to stomp out little bulges in the line, pushing tranu and burgers back every couple minutes and in general being the baddest motherfuckers on the planet. Made me feel like some sort of space-age 101st Screaming Eagle and it was a good time.

Usually one warpgate has the most pumpkins compared to others, as an example the grassy area of Indar has the most pumpkins on the map. That's why I drive around there the most. The pumpkins can give you anywhere from 2 to 8 seeds, galactolanterns give you around 30. Each alert also gives you 30, and you get around 1000 total from doing the directive. I'm gathering the 3,5k for the vanguard horn.

Some things have gotten worse, don't get the wrong idea. Explosive damage from everything has been nerfed to shit (and the killing power of almost any vehicle vs infantry), Combined Arms Initiative was awful and Falcon MAX, lightning AP and default rocket launcher all have almost equal TTK shooting the back of a lightning. Infantry can still kill vehicles way too easily though.

On TR, the default Cycler is arguably one of the best guns in the game.

On NC, I like the Reaper DMR but the default Gauss Rifle is pretty competent if you can hit 3-4 headshots in 2-3 three-round bursts. at medium distances, at close range it lacks badly, at longer ranges its COF will fuck you over.

I don't know too much about VS.

As a general purpose guide you should just read Iridar, trial some guns and use VR.

Get the Blackjack, in that case. All the shotguns are the same across all factions (aside from the Vanu, who have -25m/s velocity but no bullet drop) and the 12 pellet and 0.7 chamber time pump action is by far the best if you play a lot of infantry in close quarters, and especially light assault. For attachments, I use 1x and extended mags on my Bruiser.

Your retarded and gay, last time I played (almost two years ago) literally every single gun tr had was majorly outclassed by both other factions counterparts, the only thing the tr had that was an actually viable option was the vulcan the gatekeeper and dual mutilator the tmg 50 was obviously inferior to the EM6, ursa outperformed it as well, msw r was just a downgraded Orion ect.

The only thing tr had that was supposed to be good was a faster fire rate which was hampered by gay damage and massive dropoff (even though factions even got some weapons with higher firerate than tr guns) where if you actually got close enough for your fire rate to matter the nc would just shotgun you, or shotgun max you and the tank lockdown was always a gay joke that made no sense. Beetle is still OP but Gauss SAW is trash because of how Nanoweave armor (aka the only fucking thing that people put into that slot aside from healing grenades on medic) works. Your TTK will be increased by 40% with a 200dmg weapon compared to something around 27% with a 147 or 163 weapon, giving 200dmg weapons the worst TTK.

idk, but I just started using it recently because of the vulcan harasser spam, it's basically a vulcan with less dps but better accuracy and higher damage at medium to long range. Way better than enforcer or mjolnir, halberd fills a different role so not really comparable. Not as good at killing infantry as the kobalt, but still decent, and it's okay for AA.

All around it's pretty good and way better as a do-everything gun than the basilisk. Personal opinion it's low-key OP right now; a couple friends and I with walker harassers were giving vulcan harassers a run for their money in fights by keeping to longer ranges. What really helps is the high RoF like the vulcan which lets superbads still kind of do okay instead of whiffing 95% of their shots like they do with enforcers/mjolnir/halberd.

It's also way better than the shitty version on the sunderer.

IMO 3 walker harassers > 3 vulcan harassers (especially post upcoming nerf) because of the damage falloff advantage. You can't always stay on top of someone and that damage at a distance adds up.

Just requires better drivers to make sure the gunner can keep an angle because it has poor turret depression.

Flank them, as you should with all MBTs, one shot to the back, if they try to run away they are showing their back armor to you by default and then 1 more AP round and a Halberd rocket should kill them, if they try to duel you you can just pop shields as a Vanguard and duel them all day long, they'll be lucky if they take even half your HP. As a Prowler your pure DPS should handle them without issue.

AFF isn't THAT dead yet. I was considering buying it since so far I've only played a pirate version, but the AI does a nice job at filling slots and making large battles, so it's not as much of an issue as it seems.

Section 8 is one I'll pirate to play the singleplayer campaigns and try the multiplayer against the bots. Didn't knew it had GFWL, that explains a lot.

You can't really assault over open ground in a MAX like you can in light armor, they still get taken out by enough small arms fire unlike a lightning, and they're way too slow to be able to get to safety like a Harasser. Here's a better one, but it takes a three to six man team to pull off properly, two minimum if you don't mind exploding violently. What you do, is you get a Valkyrie, and equip it with the CAS. Then, you strafe sunderers or the paths between spawns, and the people in positions 3-6 on the plane all repair any damage you take while being cancer. If the pilot's good enough and knows when to properly disengage, you (the gunner) can get an easy 20+ kills every life, and everyone else in the plane gets that sweet sweet gunner kill exp.

Yes. Obviously. There's at least some skill to controlling the recoil and learning the specific patterns and recoil strengths of weapons. There's no skill in having your crosshair dead on a guy and failing to kill him because the game decided so. Fucking Bad Company 2 had it exactly how it should be. The guns have 0 random spread, and have pretty high but consistent recoil, meaning, if you were good enough, you could cross map snipe with an SMG or a pistol. Of course, that was balanced out by damage dropoff, and you'd need ten to fifteen hits on a guy to kill him, so he'd be able to run to cover if he wasn't a complete lemon.

Opposed to Battlefield 4's system, where only the first shot of your burst is somewhat accurate, the second is the most innacurate due to the uncontrollable and borderline random first shot recoil, and then the recoil dies down around the third or fourth shot, but the random spread from automatic firing starts kicking in. It's an absolutely fucking retarded system, and you're not able to reliably full auto people at 50-75 meters no matter how good you are, even with the more accurate, longer range assault rifles. And even short bursts are unreliable beyond the first bullet.

God tier may have been an exaggeration but besides some unlisted/vague stats (fsm, cof, tolerance, swap speed primarily) it's got that beloved damage model with a 100 round mag. I actually find myself preferring it and less-so the Butcher to the Orion or MSW-R because of mag size alone. Getting higher KPMs either means finding the perfect fights or playing aggressive in underpops generally which means just about every engagement is a gank fest and for me the bigger mags makes a huge difference. Don't get me wrong when it comes to those big dick 1v1s with other players who actually pay attention to this stuff I'm not going to want a CARV (MSW-R or NS-15 tbh) but for the majority of the engagements in this game the huge mags really do help.

I don't personally notice any real difference between using battle hardened and not using it. Tracking my HSR and acc shows little to no change between sessions either way, and I don't feel any real change in actual practice.

What's had a much bigger impact on my accuracy's been this last update that made the game suddenly run smooth. Now I'm getting 35-50% hsr on my saw when before it was closer to 25-30%

I think people chasing battle hardened for an advantage are fooling themselves tbh. I've never needed it to win 1vs1's, but even if it were important for that, you shouldn't get in 1vs1's to begin with. Especailly the good players are best dealt with by surprise and unfair advantages - why give them a chance? And if you're in a situation getting shelled by vehicles, BH doesn't help enough to do anything anyways, and you're not going to live very long to possibly take advantage of the small benefit either.

Weighing the pros and cons I discarded BH pretty quickly and settled on counter-intel instead.

I don't like darts because they require swapping out your weapon constantly and don't give information on the direction someone's looking. They also make it much much more apparent that you're in the area. It's a lot easier to miss sensor beacon, especially if you don't get close enough to it.

I think the darts are best when you're supporting a larger group and don't need to worry as much about personal safety, but if you're lone wolfing it, I think the beacon's the way better choice.

It's also useful to put your mines near it. I catch a lot of people with them when they rush over to take out my beacon and aren't careful about it.

All an infiltrator needs to do to actually be good is just have recon up all the time. It matters less for bigger fights but a good infiltrator makes underpop point holds so easy.

You could either just cop an SMG (there's plenty of good ones to choose from though tbh TRs kind of suck the most) or roll something like Daimyo if your aim is solid (~1400 ivi) or use the TSAR-42.

EMP grenades only seem useful for blowing up deployables or preemptively fucking up the shields of a stack.

Cloak: Hunter, Nano doesn't last long enough and cloak should be used for stealth and re-positioning and if you're doing those right you shouldn't be getting shot in cloak too much.

Utility: Med kits always

Recon: Darts if there's ammo packs around, a good motion spotter placement otherwise

Implants: Doesn't really matter. Survivalist and Sensor Shield are both great on all classes but give inf that little suitability boost they really need.

Weapon: Personally as a TR Inf I'd use Daimyo (wouldn't bother with this unless your IVI is ~1400), TSAR-42 or an NS SMG. TR SMGs are meh and aren't interesting anyways. Canis and Gladius are both better and way more fun than the Jackal. Same for Cyclone/Eridani
