Square Enix has a new Mech IP coming out on 05.03.19

Trailer released 5 days ago and haven't seen anyone talking about it.

So from that it sounds like there wont be another Armored Core game for a while.

And I'm not sure I like the sound of "Survival Action Shooter", makes me think of Metal Gear Survive for some reason.

I saw it and it has a lot of prominent and talented staff working on it. I'm just confused because I've heard nothing about it, it reminds me of that cyborg game made by the Yakuza devs that just went completely under the radar despite being quite good.

I hope the survival segment is sort of like the middle eastern section of MGS 4, but a dynamic non-linear battlefield naturally evolving as the story progresses. Scavenging the aftermath of battles and looting the bodies. Something MGSV should have been.
