Time was everyone had a pile of plastic crap. Lightguns, Guitars, dancemats, all worthless tat that let us play videogames different ways.

But how many have you bought in recent years?

Pics related for me. A stick for muh fightan geemu on pc and consoles and a Wii U Pokken controller is worthless so you can find them for a fiver online and they are so much better to play pokken with than a joycon and its crappy thumbsticks.

I imagine a bunch will be buying new gamecube controllers for smash autism but i'm still using my OG launch one, made with the last reserves of Nintendium, that still works fine.

What peripherals have you bought recently? have you even bought any since the rock band/guitar hero days?

got this for 2D games on the PS4 and it works pretty good. d-pad isn't perfect but the sticks kinda suck because they're all plastic. They use a wider base than the stock sticks so I've yet to find good replacements.

I'm thinking about getting a stick but holy shit are they expensive for what they are. I mean, for comparison a G27 steering wheel has metal parts, force feedback motors, gears, metal pedals that come with it, an H shifter that also comes with it, and it's barely more expensive. Is it only this expensive because it's niche?

Also, what's better between OPs stick and this one?

Do not fall for this meme, especially if you never touched a fightan stick before. Buy a cheap one and then replace the stock parts. Just make sure the PCB has no compatibility issues and isn't a lagging piece of shit.

Depending on where you live, you can get JLPT???BBQ stick and 8 sanwa buttons for 30-40 dollaridoos.

All you need is a screwdriver.

I like that one. I think the sticks it uses are 360 style bases so they're wider than typical playstation ones. For that reason I'd hate to change the awesome looking DQ one.

I don't remember any recent pads using a Saturn style d-pad so the best you get is things like the Wii U Pro.
