The general art still looks good, I think, and the gameplay and it looks like the gameplay might be salvageable. The more I look into it, it seems the general opinion is that the gameplay is baseline at best. Has some promise, but doesn't capitalize on the novel mechanics it brings - and the overall depth of combat and level design is lacking.
I still like the pixel art and the color pallet they chose - and I want more qt brown sprite girls in my life, but this game doesn't look like it's going to be something that's worth wasting time with. Anyone with firsthand experience is welcome to debunk me, but I'm not wasting my time.
