It's the New 8chan cup anon here

Seems like I made a mistake in not noticing the last thread fell off the board, so I do sincerely apologies for that

So far you guys have made a poll for the team which I have here

And Below is the pasta from the last thread

>For you who don't know the 8chan Cup or the Infinity Cup as it's also been known as is a tournament of CPU soccer players playing each other, representing their board for glory above the other ones and such

>What I'm going to need is a roster of 20 Players with their Positions, at least 2 of which needing to be Goalkeepers. As well as a roster I'm going to need a Kit design or two decided by you, a team logo, an Anthem and Goalhorns

>What would be nice is the kit done in the format for direct import into the game of which I'm Using Pro Evolution Soccer 2017, as well as Medals for players, and skills, as well as any special imports for the players if you're able to muster it

>Medals are a system the 8cup uses to make star players, of which regular players are rated 77 all round and GKs are 70

>Unlike the last one there will be 3 teirs of Medals, Bronze, Silver and Gold. Bronze is 85 all round, Silver is 92 and Gold is 99, and each team can have 2 of each medaled players (2 bronze players, 2 silver and 2 gold).

BTW I said the team was due October 31st but due to /v/ being the biggest board and qualifiers in general looking unlikely /v/ automatically qualifies so rather the team is due November 30th

That said the preference that the basic stuff IE the roster and kit at the very least be formalised when you can, and if you guys are able to figure out how importation of face models works please feel free to have models for your players

N/a/zi Meido has driven so many people away via a combination of his Meido Bot basically banning anyone who would not make accurate sentences and his protecting of his own clique/tastes over anyone else's. /animu/ swept in and took all the users who wanted to talk about animu and mango but didn't feel like interacting with the /a/ crowd, hence it overtook /a/ in terms of user activity, but not in terms of actual user count.

The real reason viewership was so low is that no one who made the teams actually put much effort barring at most three-four teams. The way commentators were handled wasn't as good as having real voices because it couldn't react fast enough to the action (though at least it was more enjoyable on the RP side of things).

Also, smaller boards tend to have a more dedicated userbase, look at /hisparefugio/, /ita/ and /strek/. Practically no one on /christian/ even cared they won the cup until the day of the final, whereas all the small boards were treating it as a festival of sorts. While bigger boards may attract more autists, you also have the inverse effect where people just assume that "someone will do it", not so much when you have like 20 people tops.

I'm against this, we need some sort of vetting process in who is allowed to enter, unless you want 8Chan's version of Dragongate, or having /leftycuck/ coopt small boards by making their team either worthless or still agenda-pushing.

One simple solution would be to just take the top 20 submissions that weren't botted to high hell by autists. Shit this still could've worked if it was only Todd because you could've just deleted the Todds but now the whole damn things looks like it needs to be tossed.

I really don't see how Todd caused this mess. Yesterday everyone was voting normally and then there's a dozen Todds with a 100 vote lead. It was a Toddpost joke, it could've been deleted by OP. Then someone else actually botted the non-joke results ruining any chance of a fair vote. I don't see how it's Todds fault other than it triggered the autism of someone who actually then blew the whole thing.

Anyway, when looking at the whole thing, the Todds and non-Todds are both bots. Like a classic case of bot vs bot. I don't think another poll could work since these things aren't secure.

There is a deadline, it's November 30th. There's 70ish days before the team is decided. Anyone could write a script to bot something to well over 100,000 by then. Picking an manager is so stupidly impossible it may as well be fullderp style because nothing else works.
