Saints Row 2 had a great character customization, 3's was improved when it comes to the character itself but sadly it had dumbed down clothing. Just like the whole game.

I only know there is global anime mod that actually has functioning facial animations, but there are a lot of tricks to it. First of all the version available on loverslab is not the one nips use. Second its out there somewhere on 5chan and beyond.
Can't even find youtube videos of it. I think there are just a few nips actually working on making real anime characters with it. That's about it.

Just to clarify, BDO is shit, right? Because I remember there being regular threads on /v/ for it and it seemed alright then.
I do remember that this is the game where you romance NPCs, but it's one-NPC-per-player, so it's basically a cuck simulator where you dump money into an NPC so she takes your turn on the cock carousel before moving on at the end of the week.

Either the most demanding and teamwork-oriented PvP since DAoC, or doing actual busywork day and night.

Duplicate the mesh.
Add the push modifier to it (or what ever blender does to expand the mesh along the vertex normal) the more you expand the bigger the outline.
Invert the faces, and set the texture to black.
All you would need then is to put no (flat) detail in to the normal and specular maps, unless desired.
And that's it, cheap (in time spent, not system resources) and easy "cell shading".

Speaking of playing dress-ups, does anyone else find it fun when characters have separate armour slots and appearance slots?
XBX did this pretty well, as you effectively had two different loadouts, one that was your actual equipment, and one that was purely cosmetic. I fucking love that, and much prefer it to the DQ11 system where only certain armours change your appearance, so you end up with either ugly outfits or terrible defence.
