Didn't see a thread, so here it is /v/, Crapcom actually remembered they had other IPs. But they didn't bother to actually remaster and release the entire trilogy, or you know, release a collection along with Blade Warriors and Dawn of Dreams. Seems like they're gouging interests for the entire IP. It's out by Jan 15 on all current gen consoles and PC.

Well, it kinda is. The entire series never did that much of a bigger impact other than one of Capcom's big budget titles back in the day with famous actors like Jean Reno and Takeshi Kaneshiro, and looking back at Demon Siege, never knew that Donnie Yen actually helped the choreography in the game, while Shinji Mikami liked the camera system that he used it as the base for RE4.

As always, Capcom keeps being that grown ass nigger dipping his toe in the baby pool afraid it might be too deep. A lot of samurai games coming up and they go with a fuckin' remaster of one game in the series. Expect a "it's to gauge interest for a sequel" spiel to pop up anytime soon and please bare in mind that every time Capcom says "gauge interest" they're just suckering you into buying another zero effort re-release of theirs

Also, expect Hecuba's transformation scene to get censored. Again.

The steam DB entry for Onimusha 3, which was delisted several years ago, shows multiple changes within the month. THey're working on the whole series.

When I finally played through it entirely for the first time a few years ago, I thought it aged terribly. Had bought it used, but when I finished it I went back and swapped it for another game.

Maybe I should give the later games a try though.
