The website has some details. So far it looks like it has extra modes rather than bonus stages.
>Score Attack: Defeat enemies and collect all the points you can. Get extra points for defeating multiple enemies in a row!
Like Star Fox
>Multiple types of time attack are available for a variety of challenges!
>Jump Saver: This mode features a jump counter in the upper-right corner. Don't waste those jumps!
A-press meme. I can imagine falling on Rush Coil and tanking hits to save jumps.
>Balloon Rush: A unique time attack mode. Dash through stages and attack blue balloons! If you hit the red balloons or miss a blue balloon, you'll get a time penalty.
Like Crash Bandicoot but with bad crates and no enemies
There are 4 difficulty levels including two easy modes (Newcomer and Casual). The easy modes involve increasing your max number of shots and giving you infinite Beat calls for pits. Don't know what Superhero mode does because of journos being bad at video games, but I imagine it'll make your gear gauge fill up faster/refill slower and adjust damage/AI/enemy locations. If not, mods will fix it :^). JK, it has Denuvo. Crapcum better learn from Sega and take that shit out, or it's definitely not worth a buy on PC. Those bastards will probably jew with DLC too.
If you want a ton of challenge stages that get really tough (100 across 9 characters) and a meaningful hard difficulty, Powered Up on PSP has your back despite its cutesy look. It's easily harder than the original Mega Man 1.
