It can even blend in multilayer elements too. like one player leads a bandit gang and another sheriff player has to defend his town from the bandits, either side can try and buy mercenary players.
The western setting is ripe for gamedevs, but RS just seems to take the safe route.

GTA V had all these fancy, catchy and really well edited trailers, RDR2 just showed you a few teasers of nature and horses running before jumping straight to the bland overview video with a female narrator talking about nothing in particular. They didn't even try to hype it up. They've gotten too cocky with GTA Online and think they don't have to market their games anymore.

I'd rather see fucking bethesda working on a western game than rockstar. Wild West is much more fun as a fantasy setting where the pistoleros have superhuman shooting skills and wear ridiculous mexican outfit despite being white than a wholly realistic setting based on historical accuracy. Red Dead Revolver was great, but Nu-Rockstar is too cookie cutter to understand the genre.

BF is trying to kill off their series by making it noob friendly. BF1 had shit movement, you could see the overhead of the map when spawning in(so you can fucking see the enemy locations), and there were some weapons where you could fucking middle range hipfire accurately. BF1 was so fucking broken and it looks like BFV is follow suit.
