2. You have a serious investment in shitting on people who play nintendo games for a variety of reasons
Reason A: Elitism. You feel that you have to shit on people who don't play on your specific platform mainly because you're lonely and can't derive enjoyment of something popular because popularity incenses your anger. This is common, and it's due to being shunned yourself at a key moment in your past and deciding to refuse participation in society as a result and believe me I understand where you're coming from, a lot of people here do, but it doesn't justify your behavior and you're only pushing away contacts that you can use and abuse to get to a better financial situation in the future.
Reason B: You don't like that most party games are nintendo because you invested in a different console, and are mad because you can't play with your friends online, and feel left out. Again, common and understandable.
3. You're a shill and a western one who is self employed or is employed to act like this to appear as a 1. or 2. to endear to like minds, and are very salty that your tactics aren't going to move people away from this and buy indie games about feminist janitor simulators. This is the least likely reason, yet still possible.

Smash N64 was too primitive and unrefined. It's still fun but lacks enough depth to be a worthwhile headliner at tournaments.
Melee was just right. It's the "Street Fighter II" of the Smash series. Old, but well-tested at being a superb staple for fighting game tournaments. Even decades later.
Brawl had that "tripping" problem. This one flaw that punishes skilled players for no reason keeps it from being good tournament game.

As it stands, I haven't played Sm4sh. But I hear it has a lack of tripping. That alone makes it the 2nd most suitable Smash game for high skilled matches in tournament bouts and competitions. Besides Melee, that is.

Sm4sh was flawed because defensive options were too good, air dodging basically took no commitment and same with rolling this meant.
Technically it had a problem with air dodges not being directional, which made ladder comboswhich you can still get out of in a lot of cases due to SDI a thing that occurred way too much.
It features probably the most balanced roster in the series and its probably got some of the easiest combos for better or worse, they also aren't as neutered as brawls combos.
