Post your favorite secrets found in games. I'll Start off with this.

887073 No.15287959

Culex isn't even that secret.

I'd argue that the Super Suit or Rare Scarf was more unknown

Pretty neat nonetheless.

Agree with >>15287959 , I found culex and I'm retarded. Super suit and rare scarf though, never even heard of them.

I have beaten some of the hardest arcade games ever made, gotten high scores that anons here couldn't dream of, and mastered other types of games including other RPGs as well to a degree most anons simply aren't capable of maintaining focus long enough for. But to this day I've never gotten that fucking Super Suit.

He's referring to the dying soldier leaned against the wall. He literally only appears once in the entire game, right after Ganonforf leaved castle town on his horse chasing after Impa/Zelda, after you get the three stones. The soldier basically says he tried to stop Ganondorf but failed and then his body becomes limp and when you try talking to him again it says he is no longer responding. Because of the short frame you have to talk to him and his location not everyone is going to just go to (as most players will just head straight to the Temple of Time at this point) not very many people know about it.

basically what >>15288026 said. It's not a major secret but it contributes to the game's tone without being intrusive. OOT has a lot of good secrets like the hidden shop in Ganon's Castle or all the unique mask dialogue every NPC has but that one popped into my mind first

I did 400 jumps in a row in SMRPG so I dunno what you're complaining about I bought the game via virtual machine on Wii though for $5 and Chrono Trigger as I didn't have a Snes growing up

I never had a snes either, I had to play mario rpg on my shitty rig via emulation, which meant really fucking shit response time in timing. oddly enough, the Geno Whirl I could get to do max damage every time

There's a ton of this in Sonic Adventure. Every moment in the story, chronologically, gives all the NPCs different dialogue. The playable characters having overlapping stories means you don't play the game in chronological order, though. But if you piece it all together, all the NPCs have their own little story arcs. Also, there's that scene at the end where Tails says "Everything worked out okay!" even though Chaos completely destroyed the city and presumably millions of people died, but if you go to Station Square during Super Sonic's story, there are only a couple people there and they tell you that everyone else evacuated because of Eggman's missile at the end of Tails' story, and that they are leaving too now. Keep in mind Super Sonic's story basically consists of walking about 20 feet in the Mystic Ruins and watching a few cutscenes before you fight the boss, so there's no reason to explore at all, let alone go to one of the other Adventure Fields.
