Sancti is a powerful shotgun with better reload speed, damage fall off, and crit than Prime; as well as the syndicate effect. However Prime as a metric fuckton of base damage and just enough extra status to reach 100%. For shotguns, 99.99% will divide evenly among pellets however 100% will give every single pellet the full 100%. Combine this with Prime's ludicrous slash damage, that greatly benefits from the 120% slash mod, and you have a weapon that will kill whatever you point it at and if the initial shot doesn't somehow kill then the numerous, and very large, slash procs will. Without even getting into elemental damage and procs.

I still consider the Sancti a sidegrade with its own niche and usefulness over Prime in some contexts; if the enemies would be one-shot anyways then I'll take the Sancti. However there is a reason why anon feels the way he does about his Prime and why the weapon is used by a great many.

They want to make even more Umbrage frames but in my opinion, Excalibur Umbra should be 100% unique. Excalibur for all intents and purposes has no prime variant. Having Umbra remain unique gives the frame its own unique feel. It's also nice to finally see Excalibur running around more. He's kind of fallen off recently.

It's not really a point in the game's favor; it's expected, and if the game didn't have enemies, then what else would be left? This is like praising a platformer for having moving platforms, death pits, and other obstacles.

I just feel like you have three major warframe types; Tanks, support, and specialization. Tanks are you basic armor/DPS, support frames offer passive buffs/debuffs, and specialization frames have gimmicks. Sometimes, some frames can fills one or more of these roles, but aside from this, I feel like they're all mostly the same but with minor differences between them that only slightly change your dynamic in a group. It's not exactly deep; they feel about as shallow as the various characters from Borderlands. Same goes for weapons, they're all more or less the exact same archetype, but with minor differences in stat allocation and, in some cases, moveset. These changes feel more cosmetic than anything substantial.

What sort of strategies are you talking about? Aside from the fact that certain frame combinations work better together than others, and different elemental types deal various types of damage to enemies that have certain resistances, there's not much else to consider. Everything that doesn't improve your weapon or frame's performance in straightforward ways, such as increases in DPS/armor/shields/health/etc, is borderline useless, like the mods that give your bullet jump extra effects.

Rhino prime is unvaulted currently, so he is the cheapest of what you own. Loki is still pretty broken, but since raids got removed and spy missions are easy with operator and more than three brain cells, he's kinda lost a niche. Volt prime is good, he's got a lot of niches in ESO and hunting, but overall just a B tier frame. So I'd go with rhino or volt depending on if you like to do eidolons or if you like just being a big guy 4u tank more.

The javlok is one of my favorite weapon concepts, I have two, both with 4+ forma I think (because I wanted to try different builds for it) and a riven I must have re-rolled 30 times. And as much as I like it, I have to admit it's not adequate for lvl70+ missions. I mean, it'll kill stuff, after some time, and it's secondary fire won't be useful at all.

That's the reason. My first one is pretty versatile, with some added "v" polarities, and I've tried various builds with it as my riven kept changing.

Then I said fuck it, it can't get over 100%crit, can't deal enough status to strip armor or cc reliably, so I built another one and slapped a couple (3 maybe?) "dash" polarities for pure damage. I'm sad to say both are equaly disappointing. They perform ok against sub-sortie missions. But so do most weapons.

Steve I know you browe these threads, make the Javlok AT LEAST comparable to the Corinth! It should have a much better alt fire, since you have to throw your weapon at the enemy and recharge after every attack, but I'll settle for "just as good"

Yes, I realize that you don't need to forma each slot on a weapon or frame, but it's generally a good idea to keep around 8 forma just sitting around for using in the even that you want to make a weapon not so shit. This process says nothing about how much Endo you're gonna need to fuse your mods and make them max rank, or the grind that comes with taking a weapon or frame from base rank to max rank.

I'm not even taking weapons into consideration.

That's a tricky question. It's Clan Research to every clan who moderately participated in an event a while back. It only costs 15k credits to replicate a tradeable BP. I got mine from a dude who charged 5 of anything you had to give. Amber stars, baited fish, prime trash, etc. His reasoning was that he just wanted something that required a bit of effort, but not that valuable, so people wouldn't treat the weapon as fodder.

What you'll want to do is get real comfy with three syndicates (factions you can join by painting their symbol on your frame), and sell mods and weapons from those syndicates once you rank up enough. Why is this important? It's important because Radiant relics have a higher chance to drop rare prime parts. Because players must use void traces to refine their relics, the rate of acquisition and the inventory cap on void traces ultimately adds a layer of artificial scarcity to any and all gold tier relic drops. This by itself is perfectly fine; in fact, you NEED some kind of scarcity on rare items, otherwise their market value will diminish. However

Is this really the best system they could come up with? Is this really worth the trouble? Unless you have a group of people who is willing to radshare, then it's simply not worth it for the average solo player who wishes to crack relics in public lobbies to waste their time collecting void traces for the sole purpose of refinement. One might as well just take what he can get, come what may, and hope that RNGesus decides to offer his benevolence.

Now I have to ask: Would it be SO FUCKING BAD if players were allowed to crack a marginally higher number of relics per 10 reactant? Say, for example, you do a Spy mission. Currently, you can only crack a single relic during that mission. What if they let players crack a maximum of 5 per single mission, or per 5 minute period (in timed missions)? Since void traces already place an artificial scarcity on the ability to even increase one's odds at getting rare parts, would the marginal increase in part acquisition do all that much to hurt the economy? At best, one could argue that common and uncommon parts would drop in value, but to what extent, I am not entirely sure. What do you think? Is the current system bullshit or fair?

The thing is, radiation damage deals more damage to armor so it usually evens out, I just want to confirm because even on the forums people are saying is taking longer to kill eidolons now, I recall dealing nearly 5000 x2 with a Lanka with no optimal build.

Sarpa shoots 5 bullets each dealing the required Impact damage. It takes 33 hits to fully strip an eidolong of its armor however you don't want to do that since Radiation has a higher bonus than the alternative. So you fire the Sarpa 6 times to remove the vast majority of its armor while still retaining the radiation bounus. If you want to be brave you can run up and swipe him a couple times to reduce it even further, but you must be careful to not accidentally hit him over 33 times.

You do not need to deplete his shields for this, but it will be helpful to do so a little bit to make sure you didn't fuck up.

Minor correction, I forgot my basic math, 33 hits will reduce a Teralyst's armor by 198 out of 200. So 33 is actually the limit and 34 is too far.

You don't NEED the Sarpa, it's just the most efficient at it. Any weapon with a nonzero amount of Impact damage can do the job.

My advice, get a 3-day resource drop booster and go nuts on the plains those three days. I remember getting one as a part of a login reward milestone and I basically lived on the plains and in kuva missions for the entire time it was active. Came out with over 50k kuva and enough materials from the plains that the only thing I've needed to go out of my way to farm is high-tier fish stuff.

speaking of Kuva missions, when you do Survival with some Nekros it is easier to stay on 90%+ life support without touching capsules, this means you can allow the maximum amount of those to spawn even before hitting 5 minutes… has anyone tried to do that in Endless Kuva to basically milk every single Kuva harvester?

Actually people on the forums have been complaining that they can't toggle the prime bits and scarf. Kinda gay, but I don't mind it. However Founders have been asking to use their Excalibur Prime skin with Umbra. Of course DE's response is to remove the death orb passive because "Umbra isn't a Prime :^)".
