The reality is though that gamergate didn't win. For every person who is even aware of the debate around this issue, there are 10 more people who just want to buy the latest game. They don't care if there's a forced progressive perspective in the game because all other media they consume is not just indifferent to this, but actively promotes it as what's morally good and exciting. You can read articles in mainstream news sites now constantly referring to everything predominantly white as "bland". This is the indoctrination working and it's not going to stop. Media will continue to shift further and further into the progressive agenda and it won't stop as long as the next generation of kids keep consuming popular media.
Gaming had the strongest resistance to all of this but the force is too strong and there is no lion's lunge. There is no "right-wing, neo-nazi generation Z". It's fantasy. Nah, they were retarded even in their premise. The entirety of The Phantom Menace didn't need to exist, because very little of what happens in it has any bearing on the next two movies. It's also too muddled with a contrived plot that I feel Rian Johnson took inspiration from in order to make TLJ the retarded clusterfuck of "we have to do this in order to do this so we can do this, and..." that it became. It's full of contrivances.
Attack of the Clones gives us some weak retcon-tier bullshit excuse of how Stormtroopers came to be (except not because it got double retconned anyway), and an even more needless introduction and needless explaining on how Boba Fett came to be. The idea of the Geonosis production plant would have been cool, but that wasn't the focus of the movie until the last third of the movie because they just needed to be there. Again, everything is full of contrivances. Everything happens because it needs to, rather than flowing naturally as a good story.
Revenge of the Sith at least had a relatively non-retarded plot going for it (if a bit edgy), but the bad execution and acting really can't save it from being mediocre at best. The best thing about it is Palpatine being a corny as fuck villain that manages to redeem the movie slightly. The problem is that it's a movie that focuses on the ideas of betrayal, etc but fails to deliver on the emotional aspect needed to make that element worthwhile as a storytelling device.

Anakin isn't much better--he doesn't have a father because Force bullshit, he leaves his mother to rot on Tatooine for ten years, and he only comes back to watch her die. The person he talks to to find out where she is isn't a childhood friend or something normal like that where there can be a touching reunion, it's his fucking owner. Padme should have friends, because there's no reason for her not to, but doesn't. The only relationships she has are professional.
Compare this to the OT, where there's connections all over the place and a sense that the characters have a real history. Luke meets his friend Biggs when he joins the Rebellion. Han goes to his old acquaintance Lando when he needs help, and his friendship with Chewbacca is present throughout all three movies.
