On cuckchan, videos may only be posted if they fit the following criteria (according to InstallGentoo):

>must fit within the 4MB limit
>must be under 5 minutes long
>must be 2048x2048 or lower
>audio is only allowed on /gif/ and /wsg/, meaning that they usually lack it
Here, much more is allowed, making it easier to spot cuckchanners.
>can be VP8, VP9, or H264 (mp4)
>up to 16MB
>must be under 2 hours long
>max resolution is 10000x10000
>audio not limited to certain boards
What this means is this: If, and only if, a video fits all the criteria for cuckchan, then chances are that it came from there. Otherwise, it probably didn't.
In addition, since people are posting about gifs, here's some info you should already know.
Gif is an image format made in 1987. It was not originally intended to be a video format, and suffers from gif's limitations. Gif images can only have 256 colors or fewer (including every frame, transparency takes up a color). There are ways to get around this but I haven't ever seen it used outside of an example to demonstrate it was possible. Because gif is an image format and was only given hacky "video" capabilities later, it doesn't use any traditional video compression techniques and thus ends up with a fucking huge filesize.
Basically, unless you're using gif for pixel art animations with fewer than 256 colors, gif lowers the quality of the video and makes the file huge.

My problem with Painkiller is that it doesn't go far enough in any style. The enemies don't quite have the intense constant pressure of Serious Sam. Nor do they really stand out much in terms of their attack patterns. The levels aren't really intricately designed like say Quake. So it's a diluted mixture of both. The game starts off in a Graveyard, but it doesn't feel gritty or evil. It's more like a haunted house ride. The music is pretty forgettable. Something about the game just feels boring to play.
