>Kingdom Hearts 3 is set to launch on January 29th, 2019 for the PS4 and Xbox One. It was initially announced at E3 2013 and has been in development for close to 5 years now. Recently, Japanese magazine Famitsu published an interview (via Twitter) with Kingdom Hearts 3 director Tetsuya Nomura in which he talks about their plans for the game, post-launch support and more.

>Kingdom Heart 3 has received a confirmed release date at E3 2018, however, the game is still a few months away. Since every mainline Kingdom Hearts has received a Final Mix release so far, Nomura was asked about the potential plans for Final Mix version and whether Kingdom Hearts 3 will get the same treatment.

>According to Nomura, they don’t have plans for a Final Mix version right now but if they do decide to go with it, they will prefer to do it through updates or with a DLC release. He also said that he didn’t like the season pass approach and if Kingdom Hearts 3 gets any DLC, it will be done as a single release that expands on the base game and not just purchasable items.

>Every Kingdom Hearts has special requirements to get a secret movie and if you are wondering if Kingdom Hearts 3 will have its own secret movie, Nomura has confirmed it but said that the movie hasn’t been completed yet.

Kingdom Hearts 3 was playable at a fan event recently and it was also present in playable form at E3 2018. Nomura has no interest in releasing a public demo but did state that the game will be playable at the upcoming Tokyo Game Show 2018 which usually starts in September each year. Kingdom Hearts 3 will be out on January 29th, 2019 for the PS4 and Xbox One.
