I know there a lot of video games based on the table top and pen & paper role playing games. But how often do you see the Vice versa? I know the pen & paper tie in game for Dragon Age ended up being more flushed out game mechanics wise and better written than the post Origin games.

There's like half a million TES projects floating around. Hell, I tried my hand at it once. I only ever completed the Player Book and Monster Book, though. And then I got annoyed and redid them again. By that point I was too burned out to do the setting guide, but thought I would at least do the Player Book a third time, and get it perfect. Then I stopped that halfway.

That's how most game-based RPGs go - as fan projects that die out, usually by one person, or a couple. The official ones are almost universally of questionable quality.
