Did the Resistance campaign and the main campaign in Arma 0: CWA, and I beat the Queen's Gambit Campaign and I beat the Spec-Ops Ramadi Conflict Campaign in Arma 1, so can I say fuck it, skip the main campaign, and play Arma 2 now? Will I be able to fully appreciate the improvements in 2 if I do?

Also, will I be able to fully appreciate ThunderForce 6 if I only played through 1-3? Don't feel like going through 4 and 5.

to be fair cold war assault is a solid game on his own, mechanically speaking the series never improved that much after that, so it's really up to you whether you want to play the campaigns or not

Most people skip Street Fighter 1 and skip straight to 2. Regardless of the series, playing games out of order never affects the experience.
