If you aren't sure where to start or are having trouble figuring out how to handle Mac emulation, someone compiled a build of Basilisk II (along with Chu-Teng) that skips a lot of the bullshit needed to set it up. I will say that it doesn't seem to render Japanese text correctly, but I haven't had a major issue with a game yet.

You should be able to just follow the instructions from that post, and it should work.

Most people won't even consider dumblr. Here's a remake of the instructions.

1. First download the emulator itself

this contains all the shit you need to actually emulate the games. ROM file, preset and all.

2. Extract the contents of the archive.

3. go to the CD Rom Drivers folder, then find the “cdenable.sys” file in there, and copy it into “C:\Windows\SysWOW64\drivers”. Basilisk won’t run without it.

3. Time to fire up Basilisk itself. Open the version with the GUI BasiliskIIGUI.exe if you are retarded. Go to the Volumes tab a remove all presets. Then, click “Add…” and find, in the BasiliskII folder, ‘install.hfv’ and 'em2_chuteng.dmg’.

4.Go to Memory/Misc. Its time to add a ROM File. “PERFORMA.ROM” is the one you need.

5. Set the Graphics to, the Width is set to 800x600 or 640x480 if you want to play in fullscreen.Don't forget to set the 'Window Refresh Rate’ to 60 Hz.

I have found fkiss with all worthwile lewd dolls on one of my burned CDs. I am completing the collection with all the dolls of a Japanese collection that made up 80% of what Otakuworld had.

This is then file with all the shit you need to setup Basilisk. And I realized that the link leads to the Gimp Toolkit and not the emulator itself. Get GTK sharp if it doesn't work on Wangblows. All Lunix distros should come with a the latest version of GTK or have it at least in the package repository.

I'm the guy who made the second thread and torrent. To free up bandwidth for the rest of my household I've stopped seeding after the count jumped up to 8, but I'd like to thank the other guy who started with a full set. He probably contributed 50 times as much bandwidth as I could with my budget connection.

For the database guy, I'm delighted to report that I haven't taken even a single step toward getting you a CSV, as I spent two days getting Mac System 6 emulation set up (everything is theoretically easy and fast, except all Windows versions of StuffIt have undocumented dependencies and crash on startup even after I install them, requiring me to jump through all sorts of hoops, including messing with driver signature checking and using a separate emulator to extract the files to set up the first emulator). I still have a headache from that, and a lot of stuff scheduled tomorrow as well as setting up the emulators for later System versions, so it'll be a while.

Nice, anon. Otaku World isn't a paysite anymore though. You can download all the remaining dolls you want, but there's really not a lot left as far as fap material goes. The site is also a bit finicky in modern browsers. You might need to open links on the page and not in a new tab to get them to download for instance, but I don't exactly remember. I had trouble getting preview images to load too. I grabbed some non-lewd ones in case I ever have a daughter that's interested in playing ancient dress-up games. A man can dream. ;_;

I forgot to mention that they went away from being a paysite. This is when they removed all the lewd dolls. The dolls on Otakuworld should be match the ones in the Sohonzan collection. This is where they got the initial batch. I made the collection, so you don't have to go to Otakuworld anymore.

Another important note about Mac emulation: while I was playing Belzerion I was getting an error that prevented me from progressing completely, which I also couldn't read because naturally all the resources for setting up Basilisk are setting it up for an English-based environment, so hiragana/katakana/kanji. I had to install Kanjitalk 7.5.3 to fix it, but I now have the added bonus of no more garbled Japanese text. Now if something else fucks up I can actually try and decipher what's wrong. From what I've come to understand, the magnet link comes from the MEGA collection of an anon from halfchan, who definitely had all of the games from the donotupload folder, but maybe not all the games from the rest, as the whole thing totals slightly less than the reported size. Still, tons of old and uncommon games in there.
