KW is a hell of a lot better for making Sims3 an hgame than any of the janky shit for Skyrim. Animations are a lot better on average than the amateur hour crap I saw for Skyrim. The biggest drawbacks are getting all the files is a wild fucking goose chase and configuring it properly can be a pain in the ass. Maybe someone on /hgg/ has already done a megapack, try checking there.

You'd be surprised, I got Toddrim running fine on my old AMD E-series laptop and that was a 1GHz 2 core machine with a shitty HD 8 series GPU and 8GBs of DDR3. You will have to drop the settings down to low if you have a particularly bad toaster but its not impossible. Didn't consoles run the game at a lower-mid settings anyways? Even then on the 360 you got quite a bit of framedrops in intense scenes

It's just Baby's First Urobuchi work, Anon. It has all the telltale signs. I've been playing Wicked Whims for a while. First you enjoy it when your dick gets hard. But like all porn games do you stop enjoying it as soon as you blow the load.
Its also incredibly broken mood wise, i always have like 10 or so mood swings in the tab and my sim is basically just mind broken at this point.
Also eventually sims 4's task bar starts to lag and sims think for eternity to do next action.

Sometimes I go back and play my nigger pimp character. I usually take a vacation with 7 girls to my pimp house in Africa. The problem is that the sims is not a simple game, you have the architect simulation, I'm not sure about sims1-2 but 3 had plot depth that allowed you to create slopes and hills, you have the people simulation that has to track each individual sim, sims 3 was heavily burdened with having the entire town simulated, the sims all have their own AI that's running together, and skills/ambitions/moods/careers
the engine is a mishmash of a little of everything, so it's not as simple as "i'm gonna work for video games!" and you just learn how to build an engine and you're done
you need an engine that does it all and that's where shit gets hairy, oh and don't forget character creation, and the family tree

A year or two later I tried this again. Funnily enough quit at pretty much the same point as well. I really wanted to get through it for some reason but the combat system was just terrible. I don't mind games that have pause mechanics so you have time for tactical decisions but when you are constantly smashing the spacebar it might as well be turn based. I don't think I'll be trying the sequel or Tyranny anytime soon.

Fucking hell I wish stellaris was good. Every patch somehow makes it worse too. I can't believe how badly they dropped the ball on that one. On release you could terraform a planet while there were still inhabitants on it to force them out. Now you can't even fail science missions. I want the core concept of stellaris but not fucked by god damn paradox.
