Uh, there was plenty of blacks/creoles in the Sprawl trilogy if you've ever read the Neuromancer books. I like to think cyberpunk culture as being incredibly diverse. Asian, white american, black, hispanic all living in the same areas, no matter how remote those areas may be. Its kinda what makes part of the genre. If you look into the story and globalization of the planet in cyberpunk books it makes perfect sense. Even Japan had tons of immigrants from mainland China in Neuromancer

Even though they're being faithful to the source material, most of us have a "cultural image" built up of what cyberpunk is supposed to be like. Stuff like Blade Runner, Altered Carbon, Shadowrun, maybe judge dredd, etc all had certain things in common. The revival of 80s stuff didn't help either. Darkness and neon were a big part of the image, and I think that's why everyone's so disappointed even though "it's just the sun".

That's the problem, what's the point of all this stupid loot anyway? There will be trash all over the place in this game and I shouldn't feel the need to be picking it all up like a hobo. Really, the player should be focusing on the big finds and not turning bits of silver rocks into swords. It's a common problem with rpgs and I agree that having infinate inventory would solve that problem but I think designing around the issue entirely would be better although I'm not sure how that would play.

Personally I think infinite inventory+you can't pick up trash like rocks, embalming tools, or tin cans (my dad literally grabs every piece of trash in Fallout 3+NV; it's maddening to watch), most of the issue would be fixed. It gave you context clues and let you investigate a lot of shit in the environment (which was optional) so you could piece stuff together and act accordingly. It had witcher vision, but it wasn't necessary to pick out all the investigative details besides smells. Like for example, it would highlight tracks in the sand or grass to tail someone, but if you looked hard enough you could just find that shit without ever using Witcher vision.

It was decent. You could stumble across things and skip parts of quests, and it was set up to still work. Normally you would run across a guy and he would give you the quest, and some general directions. If you had the GPS bullshit enabled, the game would turn into "follow the dotted line," but you didn't need it, and I disabled it. The dialogue for the quests was solid, with some actually eliciting emotion from me.
