A multiplayer game which anyone can use another controller and play with me on the same screen. Such as minetest/minecraft or elderwrito/halo online. They make for nice sandbox games playing solo too.

The joystick mod allows you to splitscreen via having a controller or another keyboard if you use minecraft with two instances at the same time jewgle how it is done offline. Minetest it just a matter of opening two windows with one a server and another as a client. Or four windows for minecraft/minetest or however many times you want to edit the config and open new windows with another controller mapped to it.

In the original PC port, the best you can get with the mouse is having it emulate an analog stick which feels like shit. The remaster has proper M/KB support, although the aiming is deliberately sluggish. Still hundreds of times easier and faster than using a stick for precision headshots though, and knifing projectiles out of the air is easier than ever.

Don't really have a go-to game. I get bored of replaying the same single player games, and all the multiplayer games I use to enjoy like TF2 have seriously gone to shit. If I had to pick an option it'd be Thief, just because the game is designed around you having intimate knowledge of the mechanics.
Second option would be Stalker just for CoC, but even then it's so fucking empty.

It has a more intricate story than movies or books, everything you do is connected to the wasteland. Even every small npc has a story to tell and everything has a long backstory, often going back to fallout 1 and 2, the npcs lives explore all philosophies and you as the player have REAL choices that actually matter.
It is the ultimate RPG, if you dont like rpgs then maybe its not your bread and butter.
The main story is shit tho, dont pay that much focus, the wasteland and side quests is the real game

Well, the philosophies and backstories of the main factions are quite good, but the actual execution of the story is really bad, maybe engine limitations or bethesda rushing the release. Usually when i replay new vegas i end up not completing the main story and having a 100h save

Fallout 1's questline it self is really barebones but in turn you have all the side stuff you can ignore or do. You can go straight to where the waterchip is, go back to the vault and return to the master while not doing anything else. You can do this with New Vegas too in a sell obvious way, which is one of the reason I like it. The game doesn't force you to do anything and doesn't hold back anything because you haven't done quest x in a way the designers wanted you to do it.

Oh and the fact that you can kill any NPC, having NPCs react to it without breaking the game and being able to finish it is also something you don't see anymore. The way the DLCs tie into everything and changes depending on the stuff you did in the main game and the DLCs is also nice. It doesn't feel like it is just another part slapped onto it.

Since release I install Doom not only on every PC I build but also on every PC I get my hands on. For over 20 years now I keep installing Doom on the PC's of friends, girlfriends, family, work related, libraries, classmates, off some hotels, at my bank, the guardhouse of the local swimming pool, in the church community center, social service offices, PC repair shops, multiple hospitals, a police station, at the veterinary clinic etc.
