What are some simulators that are easy to get into? I tried American Truck Simulator and i like it. Very comfy and actually fun to play. Is European Truck Simulator more advanced since it has more dlcs out?

American Truck Simulator is the newer, more detailed game of the two actually. As for other stuff worth trying, have you considered Farming Simulator? They're decent games and they have multiplayer.

Assetto Corsa's a good intro to sim racers and has top-notch physics and FFB, some of the best I've played. So long as you have a relatively-common wheel setup, you can jump right into racing and get a feel for the genre. From there you can branch out to different sims racers depending on what you liked from AC.
If AC is still too scary, Project Cars 2 is one of the most user-friendly "sim" racers out there.
Either way, it's nice to have one of these games ease you in if you're not yet sure whether you want to fully invest in dad-mode SimBin games or RaceRoom.

Main problem with Project Cars 2 is that its level of accuracy varies a lot. Stuff like Group C, Indycar, LMP and Rallycross are all really well-done, but other stuff like NASCAR is extremely inaccurate. Assetto Corsa has a lot less stuff in it, but everything in it is very high quality.

You could get cheaper headsets, Cuckulus is like 400, PSVR and Pimax sub-300. But I haven't played ETS2VR too much, while the head camera control is extremely good to have, having the headset on for prolonged periods is kind of tiring, probably partly due to it having a shit LCD, t. Pimax

Dude, i am playing on a fucking keyboard and i am still immersed as fuck. Installed few texture packs, sound pack and weather mod too, full blown experience without wasting any money since i pirated it.
Its one thing if you would bought Vive for more than just one simulation game, like other racing games and VR chat, but there aren't a lot of gameplay advantages in truck simulator games over monitor other than less relying on an interface, 3rd person camera and mouselook to check what's behind.

I'm talking autistically accurate 1:1 simulators, like the Huey module for DCS World. When you look at real helicopters, they operate so close to the razor's edge of safe vs unsafe that when you finally understand how they really work you'll be shocked at how fuckin dangerous they are. it's extremely challenging and very fun to fight with them and believe me it is a fight. especially interesting is that no game i've ever played has modeled the fact that helicopters have essentially three stages of flight and the input/controls are drastically different in all three stages. it's like learning to drive a standard transmission car, but the number of gears and amount of force required to shift changes depending on your speed

Ets2 iz having its base map rebuilt now starting with Northern Germany. You also get good map mods like Rusmap and Southern Region which give you lots of Russia. There's Promods that has cirrently most of Europe plus rebuilds of the vanilla map. You need the map dlc for these.
One thing ets2 has going over ats is truck variety.

All of them? I only have Going East!. That's one thing that I disliked about ETS2. It's called EURO truck, but half of fucking Europe is DLC.

Try hard truck, it's about street truck racing while you deliver stuff. Don't bother with hard truck 2 or hard truck apocalyse, they're shit.
There's also 18 wheels of steel, you can speed for more/faster payouts and the police does chase you.
