Hey OP have you ever heard of Area 51 on the PS2 ? Its pretty decent but its mostly an action first person shooter (somewhat spooky atmosphere at moments tho), its got grey aliens toward the end of it.

I really wish there was actual grey alien horror games, its an aspect of popular culture that can easily be spooky and can be easily be adapted to video games.
I still love movies like dark skies (arguably kind of bland but I thought it was efficient) and communion, there could be more pieces of entairtainment based on grey aliens.

Op, if you like the whole thing behind greys go check out the alleged "interviews" that they had with one in captivity. I think I remember that they called themselves "J-Rods" in an interview from Dr. Dan Buricsh (who apparently had access to the S4 facility in Nevada at that time).
As far as video games go, idk if the J-Rods would be such a good horror theme to revolve a video game around. We have the SCP games which already deals with more sinister alien life forms. Grey aliens made short appearances in games such as Perfect Dark but nothing ever spooky. I think the fear behind J-Rods or Greys derives from the public's fear of the unknown, which really shouldn't come as a surprise since the Gobberment doesn't want to disclose the reports due to fear of mass hysteria.

Thanks, I think I vaguely remember the interview, but I'll check it out. Greys always used to scare the fuck out of me for some reason, I would be completely terrified, but I still found it really fascinating. Funnily enough it was the ayy lmao thing that helped get me over it.

Man The Hum looked so neat. The dev going "i've had recurring nightmares of grAYY's coming into my room at night since i was 6, this game is my way of dealing with it. The original trailers looked great. But then they all got removed and replaced with trailers for a way more linear, amnesia style game and then just like U55 end of the line the dev went completely dark.

They just use their alien psychic powers to find you, paralyze you and to prevent you from using any weapons for fighting back against them, and they can't seemingly "teleport" into rooms (or phase through walls) without warning (apart possibly a flash of UFO lights outside the window) for the sake of abducting you for unknown purposes. There entire scary thing about them is you CAN'T HIDE OR FIGHT BACK AGAINST THEM.
So to make a horror game involving them you have to nerf them significantly to make them less overpowered/omniscient, like giving you the ability to hide or fight back and no alien teleportion.
