Have either of you even played the original?
Do you have any idea how TECHNOLOGY it is?
>wing a wehrmacht soldier or catch one by surprise
>he retreats behind a corner and tries to catch you with blindfire
TECHNOLOGY
>throw a stick grenade by a group of unaware soldiers with a dog
>the dog picks it up and brings it back to you because he thinks you're playing fetch
TECHNOLOGY
>regular soldiers accept your faked captain's credentials
>ranking officers know better
TECH–okay, that one's a much more simple flag but still
The amount of controls on enemy actions is astounding and the visuals often push the console to its limits. Top notch for a PS1 title.
I think it might have been the first console FPS with twin-stick controls and it also had that zoom in aiming mode from Timesplitters. If the game was more challenging overall it'd be a 10/10 today
Underground is also pretty good
