I wish Pacific Assault either:

-had better ammo placement

-didn't make enemies bullet sponges on higher difficulties so ammunition wasn't so much of a problem

Bloody Ridge was fun as fuck though

Pacific Assault was a huge step down from Allied Assault.

I just enabled the dog cheat when I got to the fuel depot car ride, and finished the game that way. I was especially disappointed by how underpowered the rifles were, it was as if I was shooting blanks. Chest hit, nah he's fine. Headshot, nah it only took off his helmet, he's fine.

How was MoH: Warfighter? I know it was memed to death for its door mecanics but was the game good?

The amount of controls on enemy actions is astounding and the visuals often push the console to its limits. Top notch for a PS1 title.

I think it might have been the first console FPS with twin-stick controls and it also had that zoom in aiming mode from Timesplitters. If the game was more challenging overall it'd be a 10/10 today

Don't forget other cool touches such as soldiers returning your grenades, or if it's a group sometimes one soldier will sacrifice himself to protect the others.

Another neat thing was that killing soldiers that held certain weapons sometimes made it so that they kept firing as they die holding the trigger down. this can result in a dead soldier killing you, as those bullets still count as valid enemy shots

Also, the musical work was absolutely stellar. The ambience was leaps beyond your typical shooter of the day.

I really liked the gunplay of Warfighter, but the campaign was boring and scripted as shit, and the multiplayer was basically call of duty.
