Been bummed and burned out of it after playing so much I literally spent the 15 hours I was awake playing it. Also, the notice of Otherworld being canceled. Mods do make it feel nice, though. Also, I hate the fact that what I built is so I can't take a proper capture out of it since a lot of details are missing every time.

Spirit mod is shit. It has some bizarre biomes but everything feels subpar, quantity over quality.
Thorium and secondly Calamity are the most polished ones.
You also have the infamous Tremor mod, hated by the community thanks to early devs being faggots. Other options I know are Grealm and Sacred Tools.
If you don't want to spend half your time organizing shit into chests, you need the Magic Storage mod, it does automatic storage in a way that blends well with the game.

I color-code or chest-type code my chests in storage and then group them up into rows of related types

ublock just blocks ads and malicious stuff, umatrix blocks most javascript (even entirely if you change the defaults) and can be configured on a per-domain basis. It's kinda tedious figuring out which scripts a site needs but if you go to the effort most sites become significantly more usable with their garbage stripped out. A random page on that wiki is just 60k for me with Javascript disabled.
