I saw like two servers a month or so ago active in the evenings (EST). One was just a generic 24/7 2fort server that was full, the other was an actual server with map rotation and had dudes talking. The latter had some guy on the mic shittalking everybody indiscriminately. Was pretty chill.

I played this game a lot as a teenager in the early 00s. There are still players on Steam, but most of them are bots, unfortunately.

TF2 will probably be busy forever, despite not being fun since 2010.

Long time ago I hosted the server, but the dedicated server was ass. It crashed at random, so I couldn't just leave it on and forget about it and had to check up on it every few hours.
