This push to censor "trap" from politically motivated moderators has been going back for quite a while. I remember some SJWeeb mod in the anime subdivision of a sci-fi discussion forum got upset at users referencing the term and trying to get them to change it to "otoko no ko" and this was back in 2014 or 2015. It's probably motivated by the fact that "trap" implies a male and heterosexual point of view which triggers them like fuck.

It's mainly why their language-control bullshit gets shut down in unmoderated communities (even though this board technically doesn't count as one), because mods can't be relied on to be impartial and invariably attempt to force their dumb beliefs and agendas down the community's throat.

I'm going to tell you the future, anons. It's a terrifying thing and I don't know what to do about it.

Google will deploy moderation-as-a-service. It will be a free service that lets you feed your game/website/app's text into it and it returns you 'clean' text and also flags bad actors for fully automated action against them. This will be tremendously popular with developers as it solves a difficult and expensive problem they've had and will have rapid uptake.

Initially this will be pitched as a solution to "toxicity" (which is really just male competitiveness, and was re-branded from "toxic masculinity" when that didn't sell). The system will be capable of recognizing more than bad words, it will recognize bad ideas and carriers of bad ideas. Again, this will be sold to you as a step forward in moderation. But 'bad' is relative, and this is Google's idea of bad. The idea is to identify you so your ideas can be segregated, these person to person conversations being only form of communication where you can still disagree with what the Jews tell you to believe, and spread that disagreement to others.

You're already being studied and your posts are being collected as test material for such a system, to see how many of you they can automatically identify. Language patterns you use, memes you repeat, the people you talk to, etc.. It will likely be rolled into the "fake news" push where Google will third party itself into a chat it identified as requiring 'correction' to get the last word.
