you know you have this idea when you're a kid that the adult world is a less chaotic place then then kiddy land, but then you get a job and it turns out that adult people are slightly-to-fucking insane and that it's a wonder the human race is still alive.
For my own sanity, I refuse to believe that someone fucking cross examined a monkey in court, but having a little experience with people has told me that everything else is definitely possible in a court of law, because the people who end up there are the types to do insane shit. They don't think it be but it fucking do.

For me, that's something I'm kind of used to. Normal multiplayer is really just stressful and exhausting to play. It was fun. I didn't really play it too seriously; I just kinda sat around in the lobbies and shitposted and I thought it was really fun. I made a fake case in a lobby once, not even to do anything, but just because I thought it was hilarious, and everyone ended up taking it so seriously and getting upset when I was goofing off during it because they couldn't fathom that it didn't have to be serious. It was still fun but fuck I don't know what I expected from a 4/vg/ roleplay community. I still like to check in and chat around or maybe watch a case, but you end up running into the standard bitter elitist here and there that gets really involved in petty shit.
Still, fun game though, even if there are a few faggots on AOV there are some cool and fun people as well.

The servers still going strongish, usually at least a couple cases going at a time and i've seen the server have well over 60 people on a weeknight occasionally.
If you haven't played, I highly recommend it if you have a lot (LIKE 6 HOURS) of spare time. I've lost any sort of spare time these days but still like to read case docs and watch. The best case I've seen involved strange magical panty magic trick properties and theories being explained by Holmes. Another great one involved the culprit being a ghost who wanted some sevenhundredandeleven brand chili mac sauce. When the casing is good, it's damn good.
Also my main shitty man got voted out so I still need a new main go to

The TL;DR of it is that hopeman killed a co-investigator (who had left at recess) by testing a vial of mysterious medicine on her called CURE. By the end of the case we found out barrels of it had been dumped into an air filter, and in a few hours everyone would die of airbourne AIDS.

Sometimes I wonder how people get hired or keep their jobs. Fire department came multiple times per week at my last job because of broken fire alarms, so we were getting fined for having them come out and not having an emergency. This went on for months because the guy who was responsible for calling someone out to fix it never fucking bothered to do anything. Hell, he even had his contract renewed to continue getting paid to do jack shit and not just not do his job, but hinder other people trying to do theirs. I could go on about a lot of shit this fucker did but it's not really relevant to the thread.
Polite sage for off-topic.
