Little stressed. Might be because a team-based report we had to turned in was insufficient, making us all fail because one fuckhead was not able to communicate properly. We are going to have a talk with our professor next week for a retake this quartile, likely screwing this guy over but otherwise we have to retake it next year. Don't trust anybody in group project guys, people will always find a way to screw you over. Otherwise pretty good, my XBOX hueg replacement drive came in and I just have to wait for my PS2 LAN adapter. Also, my piano skills are increasing as well, after a hiatus of 3 (?) years of playing the piano once every two months, I picked it up again and I am having a blast. Kraid's lair, Song of storms, SR-388 from AM2R and some other songs are going amazing. Currently learning Romance in the air from Skyward Sword and Outset Island from Wind Waker. Good stuff.

I like it. I've tried a number of different distros over the years but got frustrated and gave up a couple years back (Mint 16 if memory serves). Things have improved, even on the same hardware (Lenovo Y400). Drivers are better, games run better, there are more games available, hell, even DOSBox was easier this time around. I had one issue with the BIOS and Firefox has crashed on me once, but other than that it has been surprisingly easy to transition. TempleOS is next

Lords of the Fallen. It's basically a hodgepodge of different games like Dark Souls, Diablo, and other things that escape my mind at the moment. It's full of weird semi secrets and side quests, but almost every attack or spell you do has a windup time, the equipment system is a hot mess, but exploration is extremely beneficial, there are clear tiers of equipment, but the game is extremely forgiving if you fuck up your stats with high tier low stat requirement weapons. It's a very niche sort of fun.

I grinded out the mats for the Vohu basic sword, only other weapon drops I got were two of the guns, and I also netted a Vohu summon.

Kline's translation and a 176 page index in the back of the book that explain just about every single historical figure, places, or other certain terms Alighieri uses so a dumbass like me can still get pretty much the full enjoyment. These entries are noted in the prose itself, with italics and then a small page number in brackets to the upper left corner of the word, then you can flip to the index and see what that is in reference to, or some extra information on that term. For example, one such annotated word is Farinata, whom Dante speaks to in the circle of Heresy. I, of course, had no idea who the fuck this dude was, but the index tells about who he was and how/why Dante knew of him. It's great stuff man. There's index entries for all manner of people, places, references to certain times of the month or day, and all sorts of other stuff. Beyond the index is also some additional notes for each book of the divine comedy as well.

Oh i'm too-well-aware. I played this originally back in highschool when it first came out, this is my second playthrough of it. It's a bit more frustrating than the first time around. Flipping through my unabridged copy of Metamorphosis, i'm just now realizing that this edition is made for some lower-end highschool use or something. It's only 75 pages, after including the notes, glossary, and vocabulary in the back. In the front is also a blurb about Kafka and "reading pointers" that go on about what existentialism is and how Metamorphosis is a "highly symbolic text" (as if the reader couldn't figure that out). The edition is the "Prestwick House Literary Touchstone Classics".
Also while looking for "metamorphosis" on Amazon they have a listing for one of ShindoL's books, which is actually Emergence.

Trying it just gives that little forward "poof" non-feasible unions gives, and you've only got a few seconds before he fries you. The 360 version runs at 45-60 fps on both games so if you got that one just play it, it's not that bad, the PS3 version was just trash though, ZOE 1 dips into 15 fps at times and is missing a bunch of textures and effects the PS2 version had (for example the grass fucking dissapears when you're not directly looking at it and your scatter beam weapon isn't as flashy) and ZOE 2 seems to be running at 25 fps with spikes to 45 fps when dashing, even with the patch from based hexadrive it's still 45-60 fps at best, at least it got a complete 1080p texture overhaul and a ridiculous 32x antialiasing, 360 is 720p with 4x AA.
Mind you that these games ran at a locked 60fps on the fucking PS2 and were flashy as fuck so these suppossed HD remasters for next gen are beyond embarrassing.

No it's basically using it to store things instead of the official memory card, so it's subject to the same problems as using multiple official cards, such as having to rebuild the library on switching, and them not being hot-swappable. pkgj is a homebrew program you can install. It's literally "select game/dlc/update, download it". The only limitation is that someone has to have provided the URL and decryption key to the DB, and that some games/updates demand a specific firmware version or greater to be playable (not a simple number check there's more to it than that). The latter was alleviated somewhat by a way to update a 3.60 system to a hacked 3.65 one but there's still a few unplayable games.

Worth a pirate solely to see how much they fucked it up, the past four games were set in interesting, exotic places and this one is set in possibly the most boring part of america, there's no variation in the scenery, all those brutal takedowns like death from above, heavy takedown, living human grenade and wingsuit divebombing either got their animations replaced with non-lethal ones or got outright removed, your character now pulls out some sort of stunrod and bonks them in the head or kicks them instead of stabbing, it really hurts to see how much they pozzed this franchise.

Now I've finally saw what you mean by it anon, fuck this, I thought I could finish the vanilla game, but the enemy have grenade spawn with perfect accuracy, they always hit me even when they are far and have a shotgun, my character is constantly bleeding and the bandages I have is not enough to stop it, the medkit recover health but don't stop bleeding (don't they have bandages in a medkit ?), my guns accuracy is shit, I bought a scope but I can never hit what I'm pointing at, so sniping is almost is based on luck rather than skill
Oh and the enemies are bullet sponge that can take a whole AK-74 clip while I die after being shot twice.
I give up, I will mod the game in order to make it playable, I don't a problem with challenge, but this is not a challenge this is bad programming, I doubt those stupid slavs had play testers to point the game issues.
