Pretty much all of those up to #4 are actually great games. Also from what I remember (it's been ~20yrs) some of the original Street Fighter 2 developers left Crapcom to SNK and worked on the Samurai Shodown games.

I always liked both ninjas (Hanzo and Galford), Ukyo, Amakusa, and Genjuro
