>has no enemy variety
Enemy variety comes in what weapons the enemies have, the big armored nailgun fuckers and the big mechas.
>No Difficulty
Don't play on easy then. Enemies fuck you up quickly on the harder difficulties and it's all about positioning and using your grenades and weapons effectively.
>Massively repetitive levels
For an office complex you have areas under construction, grand lobbies, office cubicles, balcony fights and sewer fights. The one repetitive thing about it is that it's all set in one location.
>Jumpscare tier horror
There's barely any horror in the game and if you found any of it "jumpscare tier" then you probably can't see a train coming your way a mile away. The horror is the least interesting part of the game because it's uninteresting and boring and all it serves to do is put downtime between fights.
>Literally the only thing it does well is the shotgun
Outside of the burst rifle and the SMG every weapon in the game is done well. The pistols are stupidly powerful and accurate and can be akimbo'd. The assault rifle blows holes out of walls. The nail gun is laser accurate, is a good choice for shooting grenades out of slow motion because the nails are larger than bullets(or at least I felt that way) and it impales enemies on walls. The heavy weapons are great, although I feel it's mostly because of their sparse placement because the gun I felt was the least fun out of the three heavy weapons(the disintegrator one) was the most common.
>looking cool in videos when you don't realise how easymode the slo-mo makes the game
You can, and should play the game outside of slowmotion for a playthrough. Also slo-mo making the game a cakewake is blatantly false, try slow-mo'ing an entire fight and you'll quickly see it has to be a quick burst you have to employ because otherwise it'll run out with you out in the open.
Baby mode is playing the game using slo mo at every corner and quick saving mid fights. The true meat is for me when you start using the slo mo less and less and eventually never and playing fights all the way through, win or die.
