do you ever feel like digging in romsets and storefronts, among all the shit and the shovelware in search of anything? there are lots of lists online but most of the time they all mention the same games

it is understandable that most people dont do it, the time investment probably isnt worth the returns

I once sat down and played every single NES rom from a full collection. Found quite a few fun little games that no one ever talks about there. Been meaning to do that for other consoles but I'm not sure if full rom sets exist for them, never did check.

The thing that tends to keep me away from using arcade emulation mroe is how fucking picky it really is. Finding roms that match your version of mame is a pain and a chroe and feels absurd when every single other emulator on the planet works right out of the box with roms or isos or whatever. i wanna dig into arcade classics but i wish mame was more fucking comptabile.
