Anyone else tried this? It's basically a F2P Destiny clone but it's a lot of fun despite that. Also holy shit they literally have ingame slot machines where you can spend real money, they aren't even hiding that shit.

Actual shooting gameplay starts around about 4:30 in the video.

…and then stops at about 6:45, picks up again at about 8:00, and continues shooting for almost thirty seconds. At which point the mission is over. Wow, that was a real tense, edge-of-your-seat engaging experience there.

People can shit on Borderlands for all sorts of reasons; the writing, the VA, the 'humor', the politics, the politics, the politics, the politics, the writing, the politics…

But comparing this to Borderlands gameplay? That's not even charitable. At no time in any BL are you required to stand and play a ding ding wahoo slot machine for four minutes before you spastically shoot at terminally braindead AI in fifteen second chunks interspersed with looking at a screen of tetris blocks fucking so you can open a door.
