I had a coworker who clearly had autism. It was his first job and he spent most of his time yammering to be about shit I didn't care about than working. The funniest thing was that he was was pretty much a walking stereotype of the autism memes you see here. Unsurprisingly his favorite game was Undertale and described at lengths how much he liked one of the tranny furries or whatever the fuck they are and how he cried when he killed it to get the bad ending. I learned what "dabbing" was after he made the gesture and I just assumed he was having an autistic spasm until he explained it was a hot meme. And boy did he love memes. He also rattled on about all the new two dozen Pokemon gens no one without autism cares about after I made the mistake of telling him I liked Pokemon when I was a kid. Autism boy also LOVED Dark Souls, which he described as "the hardest game ever" and knew all about the "lore" despite never having left Undead Burg. He would actually stand there while I was working lecturing me about how much of a tragic character some random fag was after I made the second mistake of telling him I had indeed played Dark Souls. Why do autists like it though? What is there specifically in DaS that appeals to their redditor urges?

I feel like half of this is a copypasta, but you're correct, Dark Souls is pure reddit. It's all "Lore" no story, and the gameplay kills them a lot so they think it's a challenge, it's quite pathetic really, how these modern pseudo intellectuals can only interpret games as "Live, die, live again" I almost pity them, but not really.

Dark Souls isn't Reddit, the "omg hardest game ever" faggots are. Like some other anon said, at the end of the day no matter how many faggots latch onto it and make gay ass memes, 10 years from now it will still be remembered as a legitimately good game.
