The most autistic I've gotten with games is replaying with self-imposed challenges to play the game differently and enjoy it in a different light. Like double pain mode on paper mario and a level 1 run

In my latest autistic safari I went on to find where they drop and grind for particular weapons for my mech in Xenoblade X in order for them to have as high stats as possible while maintaining perfect silver, teal and gold color palette I set up my frame.
And before that I was autistically grinding resources for XX ultrafauna slayer so I could take down uber bossess all over the map.

This might not seem like much, until you realize that in order to do this you need to beat all 89 missions, with all 4 characters, in all 5 difficulties each. This gives you a total of 1780 missions to clear. On single player alone.
The multiplayer game has extra missions and it's own clear counter so to truly 100% this game you need to clear nearly 4000 missions.
It took me about 1350 hours

I have an autistic obsession with a particular game series, to the point that I'm sure that it's a mental problem. It's a decent, classic series that's respected on /v/ and at large, so it's not like I'm an outlier in taste, but I spend so much time thinking about it that it has to be some kind of insanity. Playing armored core last raven and nexus was pretty much my peak autism because the game was so alien to me in terms of difficulty and bullshittery that wasnt even enough to drag me along the 65 or so fucking missions with 5 endings in Last Raven, I think Ive got like 3 at best
