problem with dragon's crown is its sooo slow…holy shit you're moving at a snail pace through the game, its slow motion and sprinting for a few seconds doesn't fix this.
Will Pro be sped up to a normal movement speed? Muramasa and Odin Sphere in comparison move just fine, but for some reason Dragons Crown limits you to walking like a slug

the game is a grind and very repetitive. It can be fun as a couch co-op, but that's about it. It takes the fun out of arcade beat em ups by making it excessively grindy.

Dragon's crown is a magical game, anon. It's one of those games where there isn't a lot of "content" but what's there is so good it's fun playing and replaying it over and over. I tried playin Odin Sphere but I couldn't get into it. I really liked this game though. The characters are cute. It's the best couch coop game in actual years.

Fair enough, never lived in Hell so I've no idea what it's like over there. All things considered though, if I was there in the first place, I presume I'd be spending my time and money finding a way out ASAP.

Not particularly. It's not impossible, and with how much companies have been aiming at the West lately, it's more likely than in the past, but few of the games I play get PC ports so I've never really "felt" that it's likely, much less inevitable. The PC is pretty much just an emulation platform for me.

My DORF build was mostly ora!ora!ora!ora!s, throws and double smash. Not the most efficient but very fun and that's what matters. Anyway, what I remember from playing the Tower in Infernal difficulty is that when it came to throws, the best thing to do was to use the large boulder every room now had (a indirect buff added via one of the later patches). I remember getting ridiculous damage numbers per boulder throw, around 30K or something, and with some luck and skill, you could catch it as it bounced back and immediately go for another toss.
Typing this is making me almost wanna go replay the game.

Shank and poison arrows build. Invest on the item durability passive ability to get the most out of your knives. Both Poison and Fire damage were heavily nerfed (I remember killing things in the Tower with just a torch) but Poison still has some uses.
Elf is tricky to build, I respecced her more than any other character.
13 Sentinels is just going through the same shit as DC during its development cycle. VW work at a more methodical pace and can't squander cash on promo stuff like most other devs, even if Fatlus is footing part of the bill.
