Trying to build my own home arcade cabinet.

The innards are easy fair, but my prob is finding the wood cabinet panels for the shell. I suck with a saw and I can't find a good place to order online. They have tiny bartop kits for $100.

Also, why the hell are lightguns suddenly $90 each? They don't make them in 15 years?

Sad to say but CRTs for arcade cabinets are no longer in production. Good luck finding one. Honestly 2-3 years ago you would have had no problem, but these days you're likely to end up stuck with an LCD or LED setup.

This is the real advice nigger. Jewgle some instructions and watch some vids on how to use a saw and basic construction techniques. The experience will be useful for the future and you'll get the satisfaction of making your cabinet yourself

spend 50 bucks on a jigsaw and 30-40 bucks on sandpaper & blades. for extra jew points you can even return the saw to home depot when you're done. search youtube for the skills your father failed to pass on to you and have at it.
