We're having a bit of logistical trouble and an anon did most of the legwork on this already so we'll run this and hopefully get back on track next week, fags have been asking for ages anyway. I realise a 2v2 limit is a bit smaller than usual but anyone can host a lobby for this just by opening a single port.

Installation
1. Install the game (either using Steam or with the piratefag installer, apologies about the music in the latter).
2. Run the game at least once then quit.
3. Run the map pack installer, pointing it at your Splintercell Chaos Theory\Versus folder (e.g. E:\Program Files\steam\steamapps\common\Splintercell Chaos Theory\Versus for legitfags).
4. Install Evolve.

2. Load up the game, click play versus and then play lan and pick a lobby.

If you can't see your torch as a merc ingame (common issue with modern windows) do this
1. Download and extract this https://files.catbox.moe/indtyv.7z
2. Run it.
3. Press select and navigate to GAMEFOLDER\Versus\System\SCCT_Versus.exe
4. Tick all of the boxes under Game/Demo Fixes and then Force Max Pixel Shader 1.4 and Force High Precison Shader (alternatively just follow the image in this post).
5. Press save batch file and save it somewhere obvious: use this to start the game from now on
If the batch file won't launch the game
Find the batch file, open it with notepad and change SCCT_Versus.exe to SCCT_Versus.ex (yes really)

This week's gamenight will not be Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory but Lawbreakers instead. Why? Cause we felt like it and Lawbreakers is a great game. We have also replaced all game nights with Lawbreakers until further notice.

How do I play?
Launch the game from steam.
What gamemodes are there?
Overcharge where you have to fight over a battery and keep it in your base until it reaches 100% charge. The battery keeps its charge so it's possible to steal it at 99% and cuck the other team majorly.
Uplink is pretty much the same thing as Overcharge except the progress is linked to the team not the object so cucking isn't possible.
Occupy is like King of the Hill with a zone that occasionally moves around.
Turf War is like King of the Hill but with 3 zones. Capturing a zone will get you one point and remove the zone. Once all 3 zones are captured they are reset. This continues until the score limit.
Blitzball has nothing to do with that shitty Final Fantasy minigame. You have to capture a ball and bring it back to your base. The ball will explode if it's held for too long.
Server?
Lawbreakers currently does not have a server browser or private game feature. Just enter the queue normally. Due to the low amount of players we are probably all going to be matched together.

Sadly, since GameSpy was shut down and the game lacks support on Gameranger, using a LAN-emulation/VPN client is the only way to get an online game going currently. Evolve is ideal since it works reasonably-well without major issues or caveats (outside of being an asspain to set up sometimes). If you want an alternative you might use Tunngle but beware of the unskippable ads and invasive shit it brings-along, or you might use Hamachi but you gotta pay for it. If you're on Xbox you might be able to use Xlink Kai or whatever but that's beyond the scope of this thread. This is going to be one of the tougher games to set up for Game Night, but considering this game's one-of-a-kind nature and quality that was never emulated or replicated in any other game (including the later Splinter Cells) I thought it would be a good idea to set-up.

It's strongly-advised to launch the game and go to the multiplayer mode offline at-least once before getting started, since there's a lot of tutorials that you can either play through to get ready, or simply quit the game and relaunch it to skip if you're a veteran.
Since this is a 2V2 game and having one host simply isn't feasible if more than four people want to play, I have to leave a lot of the hosting up to you. Download and install Evolve using the link above, register a new account, post your nickname in the thread, begin adding one-another, and create a party for up to four other anons. From there MAKE SURE you install the Echobit network adapter when-prompted or else it won't work as a LAN-emulator, invite others you've added (or wait for someone to invite you, you might simply look for matches within Evolve itself, since we're likely going to be the only ones playing it), fire-up the game, start a LAN match, and you're off to the races, hopefully. Post in the thread if any problems arise and we can look-into what's causing the problem and get those sorted-out without too much shit.

Exit Evolve, go to control panel, device manager, look for the Evolve Virtual Ethernet adapter under network adapters, right click that bastard and click properties, go to advanced, click MTU and copy that value to the MAC address field, then click okay and maybe reboot your computer. You might also go to Evolve, preferences, and disable and re-enable the party system to reinstall the network adapter. If that doesn't work you might be up shit creek, and I'm sorry if you end-up not being able to join or host a game because of it.
