>The game needed better controls first and foremost, and the bland environments didn't help.
<IGNcube: There seems to be a split of people who enjoy the control setup in the game and those who don't. Why did you decide to go with this type of configuration for PN03?
<Hiroyuki Koboyashi: It's not a simple button mashing game. You have to think, strategize and time the enemy patterns before attacking. It's a shooting game where you have to dance like a butterfly and strike with a vengeance.

>No, if Mario 64 had shit controls, it would be shit. Which pn03 has.
The only thing that's "shit" about the controls is the camera, and I've only encountered one room where it is a problem
>You sound like a faggot who was given this game when you were 8 and forced yourself to enjoy it since you had nothing else to play. It's objectively mediocre.
I actually found it to be quite arcade-like in it's gameplay.
>And it's meta that's shat by bad controls and poorly designed cramped levels.
You do realize the lock-on and sounds alert you to where enemies are when they're going to attack, if you don't see them. And, there is the "Save my ass" mechanics called the "energy drive", which can knock out 2-4 enemies upon execution.
>If for knowing how not to design a shoot dodging game, yes.
That's because you don't know how to dance.
