Basically Blizzard actively stitching the lore with books to make Jumbo more relevant and the Jumbo-Sarah romance relevant as it was not in like that in the games.

A guy was analyzing it by making biblical references. Some points made sense, others did not.

Oh and there was this one retard who thought Sarah's story was great and that she was very far from a mary sue. Went on to at least 10 posts defending her and she paid a lot for her powers (?????). I thinking shitting on him went on for very long.

Indeed things start getting whacky at BroodWar.

It was this guy who was responsible for the good parts of sc1. At the point of broodwar Metzen is in charge and already begins his bullshit, but has not cucked/corrupted himself enough to completely ruin everything.

One thing I did read about Metzen is that he was heavily influenced by comic books. Those same comic books that have no grown so bad, that you would want your children to stay away from them.

I'd argue, that for this very reason Metzen boiled down the gigantic space war that was going on to a shitty love story, a power trip for kerrigan and a muh mysteries trip for the protoss.

I don't understand why they brought him back at all. He served no purpose. And they bring him back so he can say that the overmind, which annihilated his homeworld is actually good.

The thing that he sacrificed himself to kill is something that he ends up praising now. I can't really get past that, because tassadar's sacrifice was the crown moment of SC1. I was a tiny little kid with no internet when i unlocked that video after a long campaign.

Now it means nothing to the SC2 writers.
