Asriel is possibly the most fucked character in vidya, every action in the game leads to his suffering for eternity, and his choice to spare the entire human race from xenocide, giving humanity one last chance at either peace or systematic removal of all monster life was a valiant and noble cause that should have been celebrated, yet the queen abandons her post because her husband doesn't want to do the thing her son attempted to avoid, thus completely ignoring the human child she was raising giving insight into why he devised such a plan.
