Nobody ever talks about Sgt. Cortez anywhere but here. In Future Perfect, he's a very dynamic and light-hearted character that you rarely see, especially in a first-person shooter from this millennium. The closest thing we get to Cortez these days is probably the Modern Warfare goon voiced by that meathead who sounds like Karl Pilkington from EastEnders.

Plus, Corporal Hart had a really cool design, it's too bad her character never had a chance to be fleshed out because she dies at the end of 2 and doesn't appear in the story mode of Future Perfect.

He's Kratos, is Kratos were actually sympathetic, endearing, and relatable and was a decent guy, while still managing to be a burning ball of rage and hatred even moreso then Kratos.

I went in expecting an irrelevant story and fun puzzles, but that fucking twist and that ending segment. That was honestly one of the best endings I've seen in a vidya.

I've always liked buddy, but everyone is so focused on her dad instead.

Gabe Logan (syphon filter), the series was pretty big during the ps1era, dunno much about the ps2 games. Been playing trough the games reccently, fun 3rd person shooter. Kinda weird how M-16s and 1911s seem to be the weapon of choice for Russian special forces and terrorists.

Playing Gravity Rush 1 and 2 recently, I was just refreshed to see a truly nice person be a hero. It really just made me sad that this isn't common anymore. Everyone needs to have a chip on his shoulder. Of course that goes double for female characters. But despite having amnesia and being a hobo that lives in the sewers, Kat tries to be friendly and polite to everyone, and just do the best she can to help people, even people that are jerks to her. I mean it's not like it's their fault her life sucks. Kinda like how Superman is supposed to be, even though he never ends up like that in adaptations anymore. Plus, not even a hint of SJW shit. She doesn't complain about perceived sexism, and she's even particularly feminine, but nobody makes a big deal about this very feminine character being an action hero.

Kat is best waifu, but that's not why she's good. It's only because she's actually a likable person, and I never see that in modern video games. And you know what? It's more realistic than the asshole protagonists I'm so sick of seeing these days. It's always either that, or a pure cartoon with a very exaggerated personality. Never anybody who just acts like a normal person.

And yes, I know there's a small community of autists for Gravity Rush on this board, but the games didn't sell as well as they should have, so I'm still counting this.

Kratos is a sonic OC level of edgy faggotry that if you go back and play the games now you'll barely be able to stomach it.
