So I was browsing the negative reviews for Divinity OS II because for the umpteenth time my playthrough has been fucked by bugs and I've decided to quit and shine the knob of my anger by going into the hugbox of the steam forums.
I noticed that this guy: https://steamcommunity.com/id/ExNihiloish has been posting on every single negative review. Then I click his profile, to see this:
I'm 72 years old and these have been the best 20 hours of my life.
EDIT::
After playing through the game multiple times, including finishing it on Honour Mode, I have to say that my opinion of this game is even higher than it was after those first 20 hours. After finishing this game, it feels like my life is complete and there's nothing left to live for. This may be the last game I ever play and review I ever write. I would like to thank Larian for filling a void that has been plaguing me for more than half a century.
Am I absolutely crazy for thinking this is why vidya has become shit? People like this? I mean, from a business perspective, it must be great to think that the consumer base is a bunch of rabid, empty masses who define themselves by this hobby. I mean, this guy has spent probably HOURS going through each negative review and posting why they are "wrong". His "profile" is riddled with arguments with teenagers where he shits out condescending platitudes about life. What the fuck is going on with the people who play vidya now?
