Utawarerumono uses notKanji for their writing system, and in one chapter when protagonist tried to teach a young scholar the Japanese language, which the new civilization only knew it as Ancientcraft, the scholar girl ended up learning it in a flash and regarded how easy it is to study because Japanese sound similar to her native tongues. Ico and Shadow of the Collosus use a completely fictional language that is fully fleshed out. You could easily make a Klingon dictionary-style book for it
