I also like building a comfy city in games like Black and White 2, which is a criminally underrated game. I like it more than the first one, because it basically is a city-builder as well, which LOTS of comfy potential.

Sometimes I do that too. Usually I like setting up clear rules for myself, but in cases like Battle of MiddleEarth 2, I basically played like an AI would. So for my first attack wave I just used Gundabad orcs. Just give them and attack order and look at them attack.
Then I send in Hwaldar and his hillmen. They also all failed, because they didn't have any siege equipment. This is the second mission of the expansion btw.
Then I do some mix. Like send Morogmir with a more diverse set of troops.
I really have to replay the game without using any powers.
